MEET THE TEAM
Angel investor, extensive experience building angel investor groups globally and moving companies through Series A – C investments.
Prior to co-founding SAYJ Global Partners, Judith was President for International Chapter Development and Operations at Keiretsu Forum, a global business angel network based in San Francisco and operating internationally. While in this role, Judith established Keiretsu groups in the EU, Canada, and Asia, lectured extensively at key events (CES, Minorca Millennials, IBM Smart Camp), and judged a variety of international start-up competitions. Judith’s earlier career included Chief Research Development Officer for the Discovery Grant program at the University of California, President and CEO of BARTA-Tech Ventures Network in Silicon Valley, and the Deputy Senior Vice President for Business and Finance at the University of California’s Office of the President. Other early career roles were associated with the state government of California. Judith holds a BA and MJ from UC Berkeley, as well as an MA and EdD from Mills College.
Angel investor, executive management experience in financial services internationally, winner “Women in Private Equity” award (UK), founded angel investing groups in the EU.
Shelley’s corporate management career spans consulting, manufacturing, cleantech and financial services sectors. She held senior management positions with Charles Schwab Corporation in both the Retail and Capital Markets divisions (including overseeing all listed stock and options trading, and was CEO of a joint venture with TD Waterhouse in the UK). She has also founded and grown businesses internationally in multiple sectors, including retail trading, beverages, and business consulting, as well as the Paris and London locations of Keiretsu Forum. She has held Board Director positions on two US Stock Exchanges, as well as advisory roles on pan-European initiatives. Shelley holds a BSc in molecular biology (University of Warwick), an MSc in biochemical engineering (UCL) and an MBA (Fordham University).
